Mine started off bad.

Jake had to work, and had a relatively horrid day at work. AT&T had found a NEW way to screw him over, but at least they're doing it to everyone; that doesn't sound so fantastic, but at least they're not singling people out. His commission took a hit because they removed a bunch of his feature sales from last month, so I think they're reworking it; I'm more than sure it will be fixed soon.

He was stressed when he got home, so we spent a nice quiet day here. We were supposed to go to Dennis' Mom's house for a little get together, but Jake was in a very anti-social mood; he just wanted to talk to me. So we apologized to Sarah and Dennis and we've planned to go out to dinner with them this coming Saturday, so hopefully things will be okay.

Went to Albertsons, picked up some salad stuff and some Kielbasa to have for dinner. Watched Code Monkeys while we ate and waited for 10 PM so we could watch the Boston Firework Spectacular; and watched Jimmy Carr on Demand in the interm.

Watched the snippets of the Pops Goes the Fourth special. Jake was amazed at how much we get into it back home. I got really home sick, but its just cause out here, there is no spectacle, there is no huzzah, nothing. Their idea of fireworks out here is a handle that go off and end five minutes after they start, no show that goes on for 20 minutes.

At the end of the fireworks show, Jake asked me to marry him

....I said yes
